Shahu Kamble is
one of the six ill-fated sisters born in a poor family. Lost her father at her early age. The mother has been the only earning member
to pull the life of such a large family of dependants.
Right since her
mid-teens, Shahu started working at the Utkarsh Food Processing Unit of SSM and
stood by her mother. Lately, her wedding
has been fixed. More than the
celebration, the anxiety in meeting the expenses clouded the family. All the employees of SSM volunteered to
contribute financially in support her wedding ceremony and even presented a
sewing machine to ensure the smooth running of her wedded life.
