Revati
Kangule R/o Bahaddurpura, Kandhar has recently started a cottage industry where
variety of spices, pickles, Masalas, Chili Powder, Idli-Dough and a range of
food products are prepared for sale.
It has been the changing scenario that the rural
women are no more confined to kitchens now a days. Due to the financial revolution brought by
the Self Help Groups, the women have already proved themselves successful at
various household production units and became much independent financially and
Socially as well.
Revati’s
story comes into lime light since she took training and support from the KVK’s
Utkarsh Food processing unit and courageously ventured into a path breaking
business.
Apart
from being an entrepreneur, Revati has been very active in addressing the
social concerns of women in her area.
She has been regarded as an effective motivator for the Rural Women.
